Mode of Action
Chlorpyrifos 48% Ec is an organophosphorus insecticide, which has the effects of touch killing, stomach poisoning and fumigation, and has no internal absorption. Its mechanism is to inhibit cholinesterase. Chlorpyrifos knocks down quickly and has a long duration of validity. This product can effectively control the rice stem borer.
Main Control Targets
Chlorpyrifos is effective against the following pests:
Rice fly, rice leaf borer, stem borer, rice gall midge, mesquite, woolly aphid, lychee tip moth, cruciferous vegetable slash nightshade, cabbage greenfly, small cabbage moth, yellow flea beetle, leek root maggot, wheat aphid, rapeseed stickleback.

Cautions
Environmental Protection
Chlorpyrifos is toxic to bees, fish and other aquatic organisms and silkworms. During the application period, avoid the impact on the surrounding bee colonies. Prohibit the use of Chlorpyrifos during the flowering period of nectar crops, near silkworm rooms and mulberry gardens. Keep away from aquaculture areas for application and prohibit cleaning of application equipment in water bodies such as rivers and ponds.
Sensitive Crops
Sensitive to melons, tobacco and lettuce seedlings, use with caution.
Personal Protection
Wear protective clothing and gloves to avoid inhalation. After application, wash instruments thoroughly and bury or incinerate bags deeply, wash hands and face with soap immediately.
First aid for poisoning
In case of inadvertent poisoning, rescue with atropine or antiphosphidine according to the case of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, and send to hospital for consultation in time.
Rotation
It is recommended to rotate the use of insecticides with different mechanisms of action to avoid the emergence of drug resistance.
Contraindication to mixing
It cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides, and should be avoided during the flowering period to protect bees.
