Mode of Action
Fipronil’s insecticidal mechanism is to block the chloride metabolism controlled by y-aminobutyric acid, so it has high insecticidal activity against important pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, lepidoptera larvae, flies and coleoptera, and is harmless to crops. The medicament can be applied to soil or spray on leaves. Soil application can effectively control corn root and leaf beetles, golden needle worms and land tigers.
